The New Medistrom Pilot-24 Lite is a revolutionary small Backup Power Supply/ Portable Travel Battery for ResMed, and other 24V PAP Devices. It is compatible with most CPAP, APAP and some BiPAP 24V devices. Provides 1-2 nights of continuous run-time on an average CPAP pressure, average breathing rate, optimal mask seal and with the humidifier, heated tubing and exhalation pressure relief disabled. To use the Pilot-24 Lite with the *ResMed S9, *Respironics DreamStation Go Travel PAP, *3B Medical Luna or *Apex Medical iCH machines you will need to purchase the Medistrom ResMed S9 Kit for Pilot-24 Lite, the Medistrom DreamStation Go and 3B Medical Luna Kit for Pilot-24 Lite, or the Medistrom Apex Medical iCH Kit for Pilot-24 Lite respectively (*cable kits sold separately). Cannot be used in the backup configuration with the ResMed AirMini AC Power Adapter.

    Been using this at a cabin with no power for a couple of years, and it does 2 full nights on my CPAP machine, on one charge. Has a handy flashlight feature too, and charges up relatively quick (while the generator is on for a few hours in the day/evening), but has prevented skipping using a CPAP just to avoid running the generator through the night.

    Had it home plugged in, never experienced power outage, so can't review that part.

    Went on a 7 days hunting trip, my CPAP is a resmed airsense 10. Came with the right cord to plug in. I used a non heated slim tube and had bought the side panel to cancel the humidifier.
    Turned off pressure relief like the other reviewers said. Slept an average of 5 hours a night, and used only 50% of battery every night. We would run generator in the morning, and within 60 to 90 mins the battery was back to 100%.

    So for me, this worked perfectly, I have a pressure of 11cm of H20 max set on my cpap.

    The only drawback is that for some reason, when charging through a generator, there was no charging indication like when plugged at home. To check status, I had to unplug it and press the button to see the 4 indication lights. At home, the light will blink when charging.

    It came on automatically during a power failure, 6 months or so after purchasing, but died after 45 minutes. No more night power failures until about10 months after purchase. Power was out during the afternoon, and came back on about 15 hours later. This lovely looking, very expensive little brick had no power even to just turn on. A complete waste of good money. Three months warranty is useless if power failures are infrequent, and occur during the day, but continue over night. My advice, leave it at the store, and do something special with the almost $500 this useless thing costs. I never had a successful use of it. It DOES look nice, though, on the nightstand beside the dead CPCP machine.

    I bought this battery to power my portable CPAP machine. I have a cottage that is totally off grid and the battery supplies me the power to operate my CPAP for a full night and still have power left over. It comes with multiple cables to attach to different machines. I have a resmed C10 and a resmed air mini. It works on both. The power supplies cable for the C10 will charge the battery in approx. 5 hrs where the air mini takes about 9hrs. I purchased a spare supply cable for the C10 and also a car charger cable. The car charger cable will charge the battery in about 2 hrs while driving. The battery can also be connected to your CPAP in series with the power cable and act as a UPS in case of a power failure while sleeping.
    I am very happy with this system and recommend it. The specs lits the machine brands it will work with so check them before ordering.

    The Medistrom Pilot-24 Lite is an absolute necessity for any CPAP-user who wants to travel. Luckily the electric company alerted my area regarding an power outage on a specific date and time span.     Do not buy this. The battery stopped working ~18 months after purchasing it. The company, Medistrom, diagnosed the issue over the phone in about 30 seconds as a bad circuit board. This is clearly a well known quality issue with the product.
