Fantastic!!!!! Our dishwasher stopped working. You could hear the water filling but then nothing. happened a couple times before realizing that the dishes weren't just stubborn and not getting fully cleaned-but on closer inspection, confirmed the water filled up, as mentioned and then it wouldn't go any further in the cycle. I am so happy that this pump worked in my Gold Series Whirlpool dishwasher, which was just slightly over 10 years old. This stainless steel dishwasher has worked so well over the last 10 years, and it was still in very good shape inside and out. The spray arms would not spray, unless we banged the front, which it would start, but not stay spraying. After much searching, found out it could be the pump, which it was. Was told to buy a new dishwasher, from where I purchased it, if it was the pump. I do not believe in throwing items away, but believe in fixing if possible. Took a chance and found a pump on �鶹�� to match the model, which was a third of the price than most places. My son was able to install, and it works great now. This fix saved me hundreds of dollars by not having to purchase a new dishwasher. So happy to have found it!

I bought this pump to replace another pump (from another vendor) purchased on �鶹�� than lasted less than three years. Hopefully this one will last longer!

One thing I liked about this purchase was that a representative of the seller reached out to me before the pump arrived to be sure the pump was the correct replacement for my dishwasher. After a couple of emails back and forth, we determined I had the correct pump, which was reassuring.

This pump fit perfectly, and was far less expensive that the factory OEM part. So far, it's working as expected. It's not a difficult installation process. There are several videos on YouTube explaining how to access the pump and replace it. Here are a few tips...

1. The clamp requires a special type of pliers known as "nippers." I bought a small one at my local tool store for $3.00, and it did the job perfectly. You can replace the clamp with a screw-type clamp, but be aware that for it to fit properly, the width of the clamp needs to be narrower than the usual auto hose clamp. For me, it wasn't worth the hassle of finding a narrow clamp, so I used the supplied clamp with the $3.00 nipper pliers. Worked perfectly.

2. When you install the pump, use a smidge of dish soap on the mounting tang, on the hose fitting, and on the "nose" that goes into the grommet. A bit of dish soap will make everything slide together more easily.

3. While you're in there, replace the float micro-switch. It's a cheap part that often fails, and it's easy to access while you're doing the pump replacement. I bought two micro-switches here on �鶹�� for $15.00. One got installed, the other is a spare.

After the last pump failed, I was ready to just buy a new dishwasher. Instead, I gave this pump a try. If it holds up, by doing this job myself, I'm guessing I saved something like $250 as compared to a service call with the OEM part being installed.
