- Reviewed in Canada on December 5, 2021Verified PurchaseI paired this baby up with my Garmin Fenix 6 Pro and did various runs outdoor this past week and below is my experience.
The set up is basically the same as any other Bluetooth or Ant + device. It took me less than 3 minutes from start to complete. And yes, I fully charged the device beforehand.
The first run the moment I hit run on my watch and turned on the armband HRM, it was detected and connected immediately. I wore it on my forearm just beneath my elbow. It felt very comfortable on my arm and there was not issue of chaffing. It also stayed snugged and secured the entire run.
I did running workouts from easy aerobic run, tempo run, interval workouts and finally a 20KM long trail easy run under wet snow condition.
The HRM responded extremely well with the expected heart rate. For example on my interval hard workout, the HRM picked up my hard interval at 156-170 and immediately drops to 130-140 for my recovery time. For my easy recovery run, the HRM remains at 120-135, while I maintained running at a cadence of above 180 at a temperature of 5-7C. If I relied on my wrist HRM, in the same condition, the heart rate detected would very immediately latch onto my cadence showing a very high heart rate. I’m very happy to say that by using this armband HRM this annoying issue is finally resolved. My VO2 max has started improving to reflect my true fitness.
So the last test run of the week was done under wet snow conditions. I believe I started the connection between watch and HRM a bit later than usual and the HRM failed to detect my heart rate and latched onto the cadence again. This happened in the first KM. I stopped my run and reestablish the connection between the two devices. I didn’t hit start until I see my heart rate is reading accurately at about 120-125. The rest of the run of 20KM showed very good expected range of HR.
Based on one week of usage, I’m very happy with my purchase. I haven’t fully tested out the battery life but I can safely say the above runs of over 10+ hours were done under one charge. The durability is also an unknown fact at this point.
- Reviewed in Canada on February 20, 2024Verified PurchaseUPDATE -10 months in. Monitor continues to impress. Battery life crazy good, links to Zwift everytime! Very accurate. Still loving this HRM.
Original review. I really wanted to use my Apple watch as my HR monitor while I am Zwifting. But as others have said, it is extremely difficult to get the Apple watch to reliably link to the Zwift training App. I picked up this Coospo HR monitor and it linked perfectly right out of the box. It links up quickly everytime i start zwifting and it is always within 1 bpm of my Apple watch. Only change I made was to swap out the provided strap with Onewly 22mm Woven strap. It makes putting it on and off my right wrist extremely quick and easy.

Reviewed in Canada on November 25, 2024Verified PurchaseBon moniteur cardiaque, mais le velcro de la strap ne dure pas dans le temps (1 an) et il ne semble pas être possible d'en acheter une autre... C'est un peu dommage.
- Reviewed in Canada on September 5, 2023Verified PurchaseThis is a fantastic heart rate monitor. I use it around my bicep, and sometimes my forearm, during martial arts training. I much prefer it to my smartwatch for this type of exercise, given the fragility of my watch when it comes to strikes or grappling.
The only downside is that your phone has to constantly be within Bluetooth range. I connect with with Strava (direct) or Samsung Health and both applications were very well. Unfortunately, there are sometimes gaps in the readings when I get too far away from my phone. If it had a short memory (10 mins worth of readings, perhaps), it would be really helpful. I know that the receiving app would have to accommodate this but it could have a mode that handles it properly.
I have not used it direct-to-treadmill yet, although the setup seems straightforward.
- Reviewed in Canada on March 7, 2022Verified PurchaseI use a Peloton, which would drop its signal to the included heart rate strap several times during a run. Peloton has come out with their own arm band heart rate monitor, but they give you the crummy chest strap one with the very expensive treadmill then want to ding you another $150 for a heart rate monitor that works.
Many users of these sorts of brands - Peloton, Nordic Trac, etc. buy overpriced accessories because they're afraid the cheap ones will have compatibility issues, but unl;ike the factory peloton one this heart rate monitor has never let me down. And it has an off switch!
It's very comfortable to wear. The strap is secure yet "breathes" so your skin doesn't feel smothered, operation is simple, the lights are easy to figure out, and so far it has a fantastic battery life - I've been using it for a week and there's still 67% left.
I couldn't tell you about the app becasue I've not used it. I just took it out of the packaging, linked it to my Peloton Tread, and I was off to the races.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 17, 2025Verified PurchaseThis heart rate monitor works great, until it quits 3-6 months after beginning using it. I've bought two for these now and they have both done the same thing. They will die, I place them on the charging cord, the light flashes like it's charging, and when they say they are fully charged, it take them off the charger and they are dead again. It's like the battery refuses to hold a charge at all. Very very disappointed as I was enjoying using them.
- Reviewed in Canada on April 26, 2025Verified PurchaseLove it. So far so good. Connects easily. Stays in place.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 1, 2025Verified PurchaseLike other reviewers, mine just died spontaneously after about 7 months of usage. Will not power on, will not take a charge (no LED activity whatsoever.)
It paired easily to both my iPhone and Apple Watch, and was relatively straightforward to switch back and forth. It never auto connected; I had to manually use the Bluetooth menu on each device before each use, but I quickly got used to the routine.
It was much more consistent and reliable than my Apple Watch sensor, which is why I purchased it. Wrist HR sensors tend to struggle on me, regardless of manufacturer.
So, when it worked, it was a good sensor. Just disappointed with its sudden death.
