Had my headphones on top of my tower, semi blocking the vent and I didn't like that for that reason and because it didn't feel very secure up there, I always felt like my headphones might slip off and fall on the floor. I have one of those desks that have a little platform slightly off the ground that I guess you're supposed to put your tower on but I never do, I put my battery on it instead and that is a lot shorter so there's still a lot of a headspace, so to speak. I put this headphone holder down there and now my headphones are secure in their own little spot, out of the way but within easy reach. Perfect.

Some people have complained in previous reviews of the size of the hanger not being as advertised. This may have been true in the past, but I can confirm that this is no longer the case. The hanger I received matches the dimensions in the image on this page. I measured it to be sure. I followed the install directions to the letter, and installed the hanger on the side of my desk. My desk has a smooth wood-like veneer and the hanger stuck fine. I left it alone for the recommended 24hrs after installing and I've been hanging my earphones and a guitar cable from it ever since. It's been a few months now and there are no signs of the adhesive weakening. I think the hanger is now a permanent part of my desk.
