Troubleshooting for No Sound

Avantree Medley Pebble TV Headphones Troubleshooting for no sound / not working. How to fix?

Please check the following:

1 - Are Your Earbuds and Transmitter connected?

Both your Avantree Earbuds and Transmitter should have a SOLID LIGHT on their connection indicator LED. If they're flashing, something's wrong. Please pair them together again.

2 - Is your Transmitter receiving a Valid Audio Signal? (95% issues are here) **MAKE SURE YOUR TRANSMITTER IS PLUGGED IN TO AN AUDIO OUT AT THE BACK OF YOUR TV** 2.1 Check your Transmitter's signal LED. It should be SOLID. If it's flashing, that means there's no valid signal coming from the TV. If so, try the following: a. Check Your TV's sound settings again. If you're connected with optical, make sure the TV's sound output is set to PCM; b. If your transmitter base has an output switch, make sure it's set to the correctly (for example, if you used an AUX cable, make sure it's set to AUX); c. Make sure there's nothing in your TV's HDMI ARC (it could be interfering); d. Unplug and Plug the audio cable from the transmitter; e. Start your Netflix / �鶹�� Prime Program first, then change output format on your TV to PCM For further assistance, please send email.

Is there different ear bud replacement sizes?

Yes, there are 4 different size sets of earbud tips XS, S, M, L included in the package, you can replace the earbud tips to have a better fit.
Do the earbuds have volume control?

Yes, the earbuds feature built-in controls so you can adjust the volume or pause / play without needing to use the remote.
Can I use the earphones and have the TV speakers on so others can also hear the TV?

The majority of TVs can play audio through their built-in speakers and the earphones, but it's TV-dependent. The Medley Clear's pass-through function allows audio to be played simultaneously through both the earbuds and an EXTERNAL speaker.
Can the Clear Dialogue mode be turned off or is it always on?

Yes, you can turn that off. There are different modes you can choose from.

I am temporarily living in a unit when there is little sound proofing between neighbours. I was looking for something to allow me to watch TV at a comfortable volume while not being bothered by outside noise. While these aren't noise cancelling I find they work great. The dialogue enhancer has even allowed me to understand some of the Brit shows accents! Once I fitted the right size pads on, they are extremely comfortable and I find I often forget I have them on even falling asleep with them on. I liked them so much I bought a set for my brother and his wife (2 headsets-1 base) so they can each watch a programme at their preferred volume. It also pairs very easily to my other bluetooth devices for music, podcasts and audiobooks.
Edit 1: Unfortunately, while this product worked great initially, after 4-5 months the left channel started cutting out. After some back and forth with Avantree and after I provided proof that I returned the set, I was sent a replacement. Once again it worked well for about 5 months. Now the right channel cuts out regularly. When its working well its great, but the wiring seems quite flimsy, therefore I'm dropping it from 5 stars to 3.
Edit2: Had a good response from Rie at Avantree who provided a replacement headset and a shipping label in order to return the defective headset. As a result, I changed the rating to 4 stars for customer support. It's just disappointing that this was the second unit to fail within a year. Hopefully this unit will last.

The Medley Clear earbuds worked great when I first got them. But after 2 months the EQ button and the volume buttons wouldn't work. I got in touch with Avantree Support through the web portal and submitted my issue. Within a day I had a response with a suggestion to try which didn't work. So Avantree Support issued an RMA immediately. Janice @ Avantree Support was very friendly and responsive and provided great guidance on the return process and on what to do once the replacement was in my hands. The Avantree Support guides, she directed me to, made the replacement of the headset painless. Now my Medley Clear is working great again. ......Being a few years past my 'sell by date', and following complaints from various family members, I knew it was time to purchase a TV Headphone device. Having tried a Bluetooth device previously I was concerned with the 'lag' with dialogue.....The Avantree device claimed 'No Lag', so I gave it a go...
....It arrived extremely well boxed which contained a well constructed unit, excellent set of headphones and all the connecting cables required for the users desired set up. One thing missing was a USB power supply. The reason was explained in their accompanying booklet. It assumed most users would probably have one but, if not, get in touch and they'd send one along for free.
Unfortunately I didn't have one spare, supplying children and grandchildren over the years has depleted my stock. Contacting Avantree support was a breeze, they couldn't have been more helpful and kept me informed throughout the process......Many thanks Janice.
Setting the unit up was straightforward...switch the unit on, switch the headphones on, wait a couple of seconds ....Job done. Unit and headphones already paired. I use a soundbar so used the 'Thru' option with optical cables. Worked like a charm. Soundbar volume control has no effect on the headphones, volume controlled on the headphones themselves.......Overall sound is great.....Oh, and no lag.
