- Reviewed in Canada on July 8, 2025This set has nearly 2000 pieces, making it a fantastic way to develop a child's hands-on building skills, visual-following ability, and perhaps most importantly, patience. It definitely requires focus and perseverance, which I think is great for kids around 8鈥12, or even a little older than 12, such as 13 or 14, especially with some adult support when needed.
The overall quality of the pieces is quite good. Occasionally, some parts may need a bit of extra pressure or adult help to snap into place properly. That said, once completed, the cabin looks absolutely beautiful. The LED lights add a magical touch, especially in a dimly lit room, making it not only fun to build but also a lovely decorative piece.
The only downside is that the instruction manual could use some improvement. Some of the steps aren鈥檛 very clear, and younger kids might struggle a bit without guidance.
Overall, for the price and the number of pieces included, it鈥檚 a great value. It's an engaging project and a wonderful opportunity for family bonding. Highly recommended for older kids, youth and even adults who enjoy detailed builds.
