  Lightweight but I was used to electric unit so I found it not as powerful. The handle has to be held in to operate and the button pressed at the same time to turn on. Yes I get it that it's for safety but reaching taller hedges is near impossible without a ladder. Used one hand in the past but not an option with this. Overall nice product and an added bonus without a cord
