  When I received my Garmin it was already fully charged. Yesterday I completed my 7th 18 hole round and it is still about 40% charged. The numbers are big and easily readable. There is a setting in which you can move the pin placement around to get an even more accurate yardage to the pin. After my round is over it even tells me how long my round took to play and gives me my mileage walked. I mostly use it strictly for yardage to the front, middle and back of the greens, but there are also more features available such as yardage to traps and water. My golfing buddy has an older Garmin that gives him about 4 rounds, so this one is quite an upgrade
