  The fan that was in my bathroom was probably the original from 1989. I tried to clean and lubricate it but it refused to work. I am not, by any definition, a DIYer so I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get someone in to replace the fan and because it was so old, I wondered whether I'd need to change the ducting and get the strata involved. After doing some internet searching, I figured out the model I needed to replace the existing fan and found it on �鶹��. The construction of the fan itself was laid out exactly how mine was but the blades were plastic, while mine were metal. I figured I could order and if it wasn't the right one, I could return it. It was the exact replacement I needed and it only took me 5 minutes to install. It probably took more time to put the fan cover back on. It is a little louder than I'd like it to be but I also didn't want to have to go through the trouble of modifying the ducting to fit a quieter one. Great buy, easy and fast delivery (and it was a local place too, so I wonder if I had just called around if I could have gone to pick it up instead of ordering it).
