  I thought I was getting the quality my parents received when they bought their Electrolux vacuum cleaners, a brand they stuck with for many years. (1967-1991).
  This knock off is not even close to the quality of the original machines. Cheap plastic all around.
  
  Things that have gone wrong:
  After a few months, the cord would not come out of the machine. I used an extension cord!!
  The on/off switch gets jammed in the casing making it difficult to turn off/on.
  The machine gets very, very hot!! Even with an empty bag!
  The front wheel is not turning making it impossible to maneuver! I tried oiling/greasing...didn't help.
  
  I only pull out this vacuum cleaner when I need to do a big clean...takes a lot of effort.
  Bought a Shark sweeper to do little messes. Now bought a cordless stick vacuum. The Prefect vacuum will be lucky if it ever sees the light of day!
