As mentioned in the listing the baskets are quite high, so if your lower grill is at all uneven or you try and place these with the odd fragment of charcoal underneath, it won't fit the upper grill.
Once in place they're a good size for indirect heating and line up close enough with the upgraded Weber grill with opening sides that you can toss extra briquettes in for those longer cook times without disturbing your food.
Cleaner and easier than building a wall out of foil or just physically piling briquettes to one side.
