The set of 2 charcoal baskets is made of high-quality stainless steel to prevent rust and corrosion. It reduces the amount of coals used, and more importantly, helps divide the heat in the BBQ grill to meet your needs for indirect grilling. It keeps the charcoal stacked high to increase heat in a short time. Also, the baskets allow you to easily remove the leftover charcoal and use them the next time.

These baskets are pretty basic, which is fine as they serve their purpose. As mentioned in the listing the baskets are quite high, so if your lower grill is at all uneven or you try and place these with the odd fragment of charcoal underneath, it won't fit the upper grill. Once in place they're a good size for indirect heating and line up close enough with the upgraded Weber grill with opening sides that you can toss extra briquettes in for those longer cook times without disturbing your food. Cleaner and easier than building a wall out of foil or just physically piling briquettes to one side.

Perfect baskets to replace your old Weber ones. Here are my comments:
Perfect for Small Meals: If you're just cooking for two, these baskets are fantastic for saving on charcoal. Cutting down on charcoal use is a huge bonus!
Indirect Grilling Made Easy: I use these with my Weber 22.5" grill, and they make indirect cooking so much simpler. Instead of manually arranging the charcoal, the baskets keep everything in place. I’ve grilled chicken thighs, drumsticks, and even a whole turkey breast with perfect results every time!
Hold Plenty of Briquettes: These baskets can fit more charcoal than a standard chimney. If you're grilling for a crowd, they’ll hold enough to keep the heat going strong, although you might get a bit more heat than you’re used to if you fill them all the way.
Quality Construction: The build quality is great. They're taller than standard Weber baskets, which might affect how your grill grate fits, especially on older grills. But it wasn’t an issue for me—it still felt stable.
Easy Cleanup: After grilling, just brush them and they clean up nicely.
Overall, these charcoal baskets are an excellent addition to any grilling setup, especially if you want more control over your heat distribution and save on charcoal. Definitely recommend them!

worked great when just cooking a small meal for two, saved half the charcoal, and in this economy where everything has sky rocked in price due to political stupidity saves much needed funds!
4.0 out of 5 starsHold more than a chimney worth of briquettes

These are much larger than the ones from Weber. They just about touch the underside of the grill. Keep this in mind if you do the direct grilling method. The quality is good. They do discolor from the heat, but should not rust like the smaller one. They can hold a lot of briquettes, more than a chimney's worth. I'll continue to use them.
