    The media could not be loaded.
    I reviewed this product several months ago (see below) before sending a request for warranty support to Bodum.
    Now I am angry at the company's inability or unwillingness to deal with multiple support tickets I have with them for return authorisations under warranty . Their automatic response bot is great - immediately replying that they have received my request and someone will be in touch. No human has ever gotten back in touch, nor any other bot apologising for the delay.
    Generally Bodum products have a very good reputation - which is why I bought the grinder in the first place; but their post purchase service is appallingly bad. Just so you know...

    My earlier December 2023 review: I bought this grinder back in January of this year . For about 10 months it worked fine, a little noisy sometimes, but seemed to make make great coffee from the beans that I like.( Since this was my first coffee grinder, how would i really know? ) About two months ago, it started clogging up. See still photos above. I鈥檇 get up early in the morning, anticipating a good cup of strong guatamala coffee ground fresh for my trusty Melita filter holder. Not to be鈥 Preceding the clogging stage was it whirring noise with the grinder gradually losing speed and power, accompanied of course by a disturbing slowing down noise/groan distinctly different from the more typical high speed whirring one expects. . Please watch , and listen, to the video to get an idea of what happens. OK, i say to myself I, I鈥檒l just clean it. Well, that is a mission in itself, but cleaning once is very different from cleaning repeatedly鈥t 6 am in the morning! Then the algorithm of clog/clean try again went into a recursuve loop :-( it started to happen every week and I mean every week then by the end of October and November it was happening every day . Not what you need at 6 am to start your day day - i almost returned to instant coffee - but i ciuldn鈥檛 cross that line. , I鈥檝e given up on using the coffee grinder, and I won鈥檛 buy another one. If you have any suggestions for better moderately priced coffee grinders i鈥檓 open to suggestiins

    You might ask : was it the beans? Well, I鈥檝e been using the same beans from the same two vendors in Vancouver all year long, so I don鈥檛 think it was the beans. The machine changed not the beans.
