- Reviewed in Canada on July 14, 2025I have to admit that I have not done a lot of colouring as an adult but I have all my coloured pencils ready. This set of Cosomia books has three books each featuring a different topic. There is landscapes, animals and flowers.
The pages are good quality paper and are easy to remove. There is a page with 20 colour guides/suggestions in each book. This page shows completed pages and gives a good idea of what the picture could look like if the guide is followed. The guide are just suggestions so each person should allow for their own creativity and colour selections.
I am not familiar with the type of colouring book that has a lot of “gray” areas. I use the picture of the elephant as an example. I found it a little daunting to know how to complete this picture with all the grayed in sections. Several of the pages are like this.
There is a varied selection of subjects in each book and there is bound to be something that appeals to everyone. My favourite book was the one with the animals but all the books have incredible pictures.
I have my favourite pictures but I am leaving them until last. I want to become familiar with the whole idea of colouring and especially colouring the grayed areas.
The cost for three colouring books is $21.99 (July 2025).
