I have to admit that I have not done a lot of colouring as an adult but I have all my coloured pencils ready. This set of Cosomia books has three books each featuring a different topic. There is landscapes, animals and flowers.

The pages are good quality paper and are easy to remove. There is a page with 20 colour guides/suggestions in each book. This page shows completed pages and gives a good idea of what the picture could look like if the guide is followed. The guide are just suggestions so each person should allow for their own creativity and colour selections.

I am not familiar with the type of colouring book that has a lot of “gray” areas. I use the picture of the elephant as an example. I found it a little daunting to know how to complete this picture with all the grayed in sections. Several of the pages are like this.

There is a varied selection of subjects in each book and there is bound to be something that appeals to everyone. My favourite book was the one with the animals but all the books have incredible pictures.

I have my favourite pictures but I am leaving them until last. I want to become familiar with the whole idea of colouring and especially colouring the grayed areas.

The cost for three colouring books is $21.99 (July 2025).

We both like these to relax and color.

The paper is fairly thick and includes a backer piece of cardboard to avoid bleed through onto the next page. You can see in my last picture bleed through from a marker we used.

They are spiral bound so you can open it fully to work on a page.

I like the animals best followed by landscapes and flowers.

My wife likes landscapes best followed by flowers and animals.

Each book has a sample to follow if you like or you can choose your own colors to change it up.

I'm glad these colouring books are finally coming down in price.

The top binding is huge. Makes it much easier to colour not having to deal with an uneven surface because you're folding the book backwards on its seam.

Easy to remove finished pages if you want.

Paper is good quality; fairly heavy weight. Some bleed through with markers to the back of the page, but I didn't get any transferring to the page behind.

Decent page count and having the 3 colouring books instead of one big one makes trying to entertain many kids easier.

This 3PK of Adult Colouring Books is great - you have a lot of selection from landscapes, animals, and florals. The paper is quite thick and is one-sided. These colouring books come with an extra piece of material to avoid bleed-thru with markers.

I absolutely love the variety - There are lots of pieces here to choose from to suit your mood! The line art in the books is very clean, and not blurry at all. These books are well printed on decent paper - very nice to watch a movie and relax by colouring.

Decent, thick paper, single-sided pages, and a spiral bound. Pack also includes a piece of cardboard to use as backing between pages.

Unfortunately all the images are AI generated and thus all of them have awkward melting objects, things that don't make sense and grayscale from the attempts of the company to make the images into coloring book ones. This one goes a step further by adding the original AI images in full color to the front as a thumbnail style.

I'm a beginner when it comes to adult colouring books - I tend to relax through doing jigsaw puzzles or diamond painting, but I wanted to change things up.

The quality of the paper in these Cosomia colouring books is excellent. Very thick stock that will allow for framing afterwards. The spiral binding makes it much easier to work with these books. The images are nice and varied, and there are intricate details to keep things realistic.

However, I'm not sure if it's typical for the images to have so much grey shading already. (My context is a mandala colouring book, and other than the outlines, the images are totally clear to colour in.) There are many images in thes colouring books where I feel my colouring pencils will not really come through due to the shading. This is especially so for the Animals and the Nature Landscape books, whereas the Flowers book has more images that are simply outlines without shading.

The quality of the paper in these Cosomia colouring books is excellent. Very thick stock that will allow for framing afterwards. The spiral binding makes it much easier to work with these books. The images are nice and varied, and there are intricate details to keep things realistic.

However, I'm not sure if it's typical for the images to have so much grey shading already. What I got: Three coloring spiral bound sets of 20 images with a full-color reference page showing all 20 images and one piece of card stock (for backing, I assume--insert it behind the page being colored to provide a stiffer back surface and eliminate any potential bleed through.) I note that there is no information as to origin and no copyright so perhaps these images are either in the public domain or computer generated, but certainly it is without attribution.
Note that there is selective gray scale shading on some of the picture blanks. I assume this is to provide tonality when color is applied over the top. Many of the images bleed off the edges of the pages. The size is interesting, but not quite as noted in the description. The length is just under 11" (similar to letter-sized paper in the US) while the width is 8.25", .25" more narrow than letter-sized. The punches for the double wire spiral binding are inset 3/8" along the 8.25" top side, making these images "portrait" rather than "landscape" for all three books. Perhaps the publishers used A4-sized paper and trimmed it to make the final books? I'm just guessing here.
I note that the description includes sample pages so I have also provided images of the reference pages so you can know what you are getting. The paper itself has a smooth surface and is heavier than typical paper, more like cover stock or drawing paper. I actually have a ream of quite similar paper for the grandchildren to use for drawing, but my wife keeps giving them the 24lb stock I use for laser printing so it may last forever. It should hold your drawing media fairly well, whether silky crayons, pastels, colored pencils, or even markers or wax crayons. If you do use a wet media like water color or acrylic, the paper may stretch, I did not check.
These could be used to color directly or the images could be replicated in order to color them multiple times. They should copy directly onto 8.5x11 paper, since copiers generally do not print along the margins of the paper.

These are great coloring books. I love the variety in them.

I Purposefully used Reds and greens to get a feel for the paper. My markers of choice and that I am using for the page is Sharpie reds, purples, blues and greens to prime with and then I went into it for blending and coloring using my Faber-Castell pencils, blues, reds, greens, yellows and some purples.

I love the variety of the different pictures in the book and I also like that the majority of the pictures have complete lines which is something I appreciate very much when looking at different designs. There is such a variety of choices, not just patterns but the way they are illustrated it does look like multiple artists creations. I prefer that in my coloring books.

What I love most about these books is the spiral binding and the weight of the paper and the fact that they are single sided prints. It's nice paper! As seen in the photos I did put a piece of construction paper under it just to ensure it didn't bleed onto the next page but as you can see, even though it bled through the back it did not bleed all the way through to the construction paper. That's very nice!!

My pencils laid down color really nice on this paper. Typically my pencils will lay pretty darn good on any paper but I did go in with a blending tool to see if the pencil would flake and if the paper would present smear marks as I was blending and it doesn't. I also noticed that I only saw a very tiny amount of feathering, very very nice. All this has to do with this awesome paper quality.

The only thing I am not entirely sold on is the monochrome / black and white / gray pages. I like the photo realism of them (example leopard picture attached) but I would prefer white. Though I do see where there could be an advantage to using it as a guide more or less for where, what to color if it's someone who prefers a little more structure to their pages.

Over all I think that the pack is great and I would be a buyer in a heart beat 😊❤️. Thank you!

I Loved these! I love the fact that it's one picture per page and it's thick paper so that it doesn't bleed through easily. If I use certain markers it will go through a little bit but not much at all and you can always put a piece of paper under it to prevent it from bleeding onto the other page because it is one print per page. These are very good quality and very durable.

Several different types of pictures for every person. Great detail and you can really tell that someone took their time making these and not just throwing it together.

I color with gel pens twistable color pencils and fine tip markers and the paper is perfectly thick for all of these. It easily erased too.

I do recommend these and hope you like them as much as I do! This is my honest review and I hope you have a wonderful day today and everyday after as well!
