I used this to redo a cat post. The post was about 2 feet high and 3" - 3 1/2" in diameter and I used about 60 feet or so. The thickness means it's easy to do a post - job goes quickly and you can glue it using temporary nails to hold it in place as you go. My cat, however, finds it a bit rough and doesn't use it as much as the old post, despite a liberal application of catnip. I'm using sandpaper to soften it up and that seems to be working.
