Customer Review

Piece of junk. Worked for just 2 months, then broke. Specifically, the plastic "base" into which the metal "cup" on top fits (each time you use it, you must "twist" into this base) . . .just snapped off! That's right, the plastic just snapped! Incredibly poor workmanship. Chinese import? What I learned is do not be fooled by Cuisinart's use of "stainless steel" on the OUTSIDE of their products. That is just for appearance! The INSIDE is what counts (electronics, etc.). So now I had to PAY to send it back to Cuisinart (trip to the post office, I pay the shipping) for repair/replace. I'll be getting a DIFFERENT BRAND of spice grinder in the future. Not Cuisinart
    **** UPDATE***
Just got off the phone with Cuisinart Canada "NON-customer service" 2nd time. Wow! What an obnoxious jerk! First, I had to wait 5 hours for a call-back from their so-called "support phone #" ("We're sorry, we are busy now. But leave your # and we will call you back"). Yep. 5 HOURS for a callback. Then a rude, cold phone rep: "Sorry sir . . ." get-lost response. Just confirmed my impression that Cuisinart has ZERO customer service worth talking about. What a scam! BE WARNED. Don't buy Cuisinart.
