  Based on other reviews, it's clear that this product is subject to varied degrees of success for unknown reasons. In my case, it took 5 hours for the included active ingredient to start to work (the instructions do say 2-5 hours). That said, I still needed to put drops of sugar water at the entrance to bait the wasps to enter. It's almost like the wasps were not aware of the intended bait. Once the wasps started entering, the trap managed to attract about 10-12 wasps per day. Tired of this poor performance, I emptied the solution and added my own solution of sugar water. Trapping performance improved with sugar water, but not any where close to my old glass catcher. I won't buy again based on my experience and have returned to the new plastic style bottle with sugar water.
