At over 1400 pieces for less than $50 it provides good play value for the buck while still providing an exceptional looking car model with sleek lines and lots of details and the addition of moveable parts in the wheels, piston engine, spoiler, doors, and front wheel linkages. The moving parts add another level of interest to the model. The 1400 pieces are divided up into 3 large bags and further diivided into smaller bags. There are stickers inside the manual that add authenticity and finishing details. We separate all the pieces into like shapes in a dozen or more containers to help locating pieces as the manual steps provide the required pieces in each step, otherwise finding the pieces is tedious and time consuming. The manual is very detailed and requires patience and a detailed eye as many of the pieces look alike and the colors are similar and sometimes hard to distinguish and removing pieces once they are installed can be challenging if you have to unbuild the model due to an error on your part. The product label says this model is for those 8 years of age and up, while the description in the body says it is for teens and adults. I think it is best geared toward teens and up due to the complexity of the build and the intricacy of the pictures in the manual. Hours, make that days, of fun for a reasonable price.
