  The cutter works well but the directions are a bit unclear. To cut on the back side of the mat, where your pencil cut lines are, and to get the 45° cut on the front side, you must keep the cutter on the inside of your line. If you cut on the outside of the lines, the angle will be wrong. This is not clear in the instructions.
