This is a great read for anyone who values wildlife, rare plants and animals, fish, and nature in general. And for anyone who is concerned about poaching, and appreciates the efforts of myriad conservation/fish and wildlife officers who work tirelessly to apprehend poachers. Randy Nelson's character, experience and passion in this field are evident throughout his book. The stories he has collected are diverse and compelling reads, delivered crisply in short, readable chapters. Hard to put down. But also sad to see such stark examples of just how much poaching goes on in North America.
