Setup was pretty standard in comparison to other cameras where you need to mount the camera onto the windshield and then find a way back to your power source. The supplied cable came with plenty of slack for this task.
The setup of the camera was very easy as the menus are intuitive.
The one thing that I will mention is that personally, I prefer the suction on the windshield over the 3M tape that is supplied on this unit. But that is just my preference.
Overall, this camera is very good value for all that you get.
