- Reviewed in Canada on September 6, 2023I enjoy having 1-2 coffees in the morning (sometimes a latte or espresso or bold dark roast). I also enjoy trying new and different coffees experiences and with that in mind when I saw this Dodjivi Organic Mushroom Coffee on 鶹 so I decided to give it a try.
This is instant coffee so no brewer or french press is necessary. This coffee mix features 100% arabica coffee, organic reishi mushroom powder, ginseng, green tea extracts and other herbs. This product is gluten free, vegan, sugar free, keto and non-GMO.
When I first tried it I didn't know what to expect taste-wise but this mixture definitely has a different taste from pure coffee. You can tell that it has coffee in it but there are other tastes as well. I don't hate the taste but I also don't think it is the best thing I ever tasted. I have only had a few cups so far so there is also the chance that the taste might grow on me by the time I finish the bag. The bag I received has a long expiry date (Nov 21 2024) and is resealable once opened.
I don't know exactly how to sum up this product because on one hand I really like my regular coffee that I have been drinking for years and this is rather different than that. I am neutral on the taste. On the other hand I like that fact that it contains herbs that can potentially help with immune support and have other health benefits. I am really undecided on this product. I will continue to drink it until I finish the bag and then will decide if it is something that I will add to my diet.
