  It adds some grip for the hands but that's about it , i find my switch terribly hard to dock with it , and it's poorly protective of the screen .... not bad , but not what i was looking for in terms of protection.
  
  Edit : added more stars because i tried like 4 and this one is way more decent , but hard to dock but it's not crappy material.
