Upon opening up the parcel I was a little disappointed. The grinder was mostly made out of plastic (and light duty at that) except for the jar which the grinds emptied into, which was made of glass. After a bit of trial and error I was able to find the perfect grind & time limit for espresso beans (oily) and Colombian beans (quite a bit dryer than the espresso beans). I鈥檝e purchased after market refillable pods so now I can make up my own pods with the coffee beans I have, with a great taste, but way way less expensive!!!
The grinder comes apart very easily for cleaning and when grinding, the unit itself remains planted & doesn鈥檛 skate.
I found this unit awesome after dialing in the proper grinds and time limits. I didn鈥檛 get it on sale so I paid more, NO, way more than what one of the reviews said that they purchased it for. After getting over the 鈥減lastic鈥 build, I truly like it lots. Now I can use the pounds of coffee and my espresso beans (that I have on hand) and get a great cuppa, and it saves me from using the lprepackaged Kureg pods which always tastes great鈥ust darned expensive.
It鈥檚 plastic, small & quiet鈥& easy to clean.
I鈥檝e only used it for a week now so only time will tell. My Cusinart grinder died after 9 years so it didn鈥檛 owe me anything
Bottom of the line, yes I recommend. It comes with a 2 year warranty so in essence you don鈥檛 need to purchase the 2 year warranty that is offered by 麻豆区鈥hich I did.
