  I think the problem with it is the design: it is quite narrow inside, so the pepper doesn't flow smoothly, reason for which it only "gives" just a little, fine pepper. It didn't look like I could change the coarseness. The quantity of pepper I could put inside is quite small, compared with what it looks like outside.
  Also, it came with about 40 pepper corns! (i.e. "not much" ! )
