- Reviewed in Canada on February 26, 2020The paper towel holder is finished very nicely. It looks classy, not cheap materials. The size is also ok, not too bulky and not too wide. It will take up counter space, so for those who have little counter space, you may want to consider those that hang by the cabinets.
It is just the right amount of weight, it does not slide around my counter despite me pulling it with force.
My biggest concern is the 1 hand tear. I looked thru several brands that claim to have this feature and tried OXO as it had good reviews. I think I was doing it wrong for some time so I had a hit or miss experience with the 1 hand tear. I tried jerking it really fast, tearing it backward, and finally tearing it forward (with a downward motion)- this worked best. The handle holding the paper down won't have that tight of a grip once the paper towel is less than half of the roll.
