  Used this for the first time yesterday to shred carrots and beets into a salad. Seemed to work fine. Didn't seem very sharp and the shoot is small for feeding in the veges. So it lost a star for that. I got it to help me cut up food to help my arthritic hands, but the shoot is so small I still had to do a fair bit of cutting unfortunately.
