Used it on a completely dead battery in -30c temperatures and the car started immediately. Have used it a number of times with the same positive outcome. Is a bit pricey but worth it when you need it. The unit takes a while to fully charge (7 hours initially) so keep it charged for ease of use. Only very picky comment would be a preference for slightly longer cables.
