Love this ruler-guide. I have another company jig for cabinet handles (the blue brand that sounds like greg), but it is limited to traditional size of hole spacing. My cabinets have larger (longer) handles that don't fit the other jig. Getting this adjustable T-Square does a great job at extending the size of the handles. Additionally, the spacing is better with the Preciva because the greg is pre-jigged to certain sizes and could not do different offsets (it was like the greg was based on 1/8" offsets) forcing into grooves that were not in alignment with my handles.
The handles were one part, but then I had to help a friend with a different problem. We were hanging a sun-shade off the side of his pergola, and needed to have a consistent offset. This T-Square was perfect for the job.
A simple tool and setup that has already paid itself off.

More helpful than a bigger name brand, and than I expected

This is a useful square for many things. It is overall solid build, with the main components made out of metal. The built in levels, adjustable positioning of both rulers, and the sliding lockable drill guides you're sure to find lots of uses for this. I would suggest using the drill guides for just starting your holes as the aluminum is probably prone to wear out if you aren't careful, but if you are I'm certain it will last for a long time.

T square with a few tricks
So what I like about this particular tool, it definitely will do some things that none of my other T squares will do. You can lineup furniture knobs, drawer handles and any number of other holes that need to be aligned. It can be set to any angle between zero and 180° and has a nice positive lock at the 90° position. Each drill guide will accommodate two different size bits or a slim line carpenters pencil. The main body ruler does have tabs so you can slip it onto the edge of your workpiece without it tipping from side to side.Oh Yes I Wood 2T square with a few tricks

What I don't like, plastic pieces. The drill guides, the level mounts and the end caps are all made of plastic. Also, the actual holes in the guides themselves are aluminum inserts as are the knobs used to tighten them up. This will definitely cut down on a longevity although this will not probably get used as much as my other squares. It does have standard and metric measurements, always a big win with me.

Good for a DIY. Not good for daily profession.
This will be helpful in alignment for handles, knobs and hinges but it’s by no means a very high quality. The relief notches to snug the two halves together are not wide enough to evenly secure them. For a 1x DIYer, this may suffice but I would not recommend this for someone who will be doing repeat projects.Verified UserGood for a DIY. Not good for daily profession.

Quality aluminum t-square ruler, should last a long time.
I have wanted a quality t square ruler for a while, and I am very happy with this one. I have had some bad versions in the past that were made of plastic, so I was looking for a metal/aluminum version. The Preciva square ruler is 99% aluminum, with plastic ends, and is easy to adjust too your needs. It seems it is targeted towards cabinet work, but it has so many possible uses, one of my favorite for hanging pictures, and finding angles prior to cutting 2x4's.KimoQuality aluminum t-square ruler, should last a long time.
