Solid metal speed square at a reasonable price. While the markings are a little busy, I won't deny that they are convenient for less experienced woodworkers, or at least those who avoid deciphering the fractional tick marks if printed fractions are provided. Measurements seem to compare well to other tools, which isn't a surprise since Preciva seems to be expanding into layout tools and the different tools I've gotten from them have generally been of good quality at reasonable prices. I'm likely to keep this quear near my workbench since the hex nut gauges and hole sizes strikes me as more of a reference tool than field tool but we'll see over time.
I'd be a little happier if that had the drilled hole gauges in imperial measurements and match common drill bit sizes rather than the use of the use of metric (the only use of metric on this square) so the inconsistency is a bit annoying, but not enough to drop a full star) The extra lead holder with lead is a bit cute, but I don't think it adds a lot of value, again, no clip or anything to secure it to a pocket edge or tool belt means that I'm not likely going to use it much in the field, but could, like the square, keep it close to the workbench

Tante funzioni intelligenti in poco spazio
Questa squadretta è davvero solida ma al tempo stesso leggera (è fatta in ABS rinforzato con inserti metallici) e ha tante funzionalità. In dotazione c'è un nottolino che ha doppia funzione: può essere posizionato sulla parte graduata nella parte bassa in corrispondenza di un numero che indica un angolo: in questo modo si può fare in modo da tracciare angoli con estrema facilità. In aggiunta può essere avvitato sulla squadra per poterla appendere.
All'interno della squadra ci sono dei fori circolari, che servono soprattutto a vedere il diametro dei tasselli in maniera tale da poter scegliere la punta più opportuna per forare, e dei fori esagonali che servono per misurare i dadi.
Buona squadra, molto utile per fare dei lavori di falegnameria precisi con poco sforzo.

Well made & accurate speed/rafter square with angle limiter, pencil
This rafter/speed square includes an angle limiting clamp, which enables some advanced uses and techniques. Both are well made. I checked the angles against my other layout tools, including a Starrett 12" combination square, and they all agree. It's nice having accurate layout & marking tools you can trust, and it's a big step up from my other seven inch rafter square which is thin and brittle, made from pot metal and prone to breaking from impacts. This square has a couple non-traditional features built into it which you might find handy: nut & drill size finders. In addition, there are the many speed square secrets you can discover on YouTube. The included, push-to advance pencil comes with one pre-sharpened graphite lead installed, and a tube of eight more unsharpened leads. There's no eraser, but a SMALL removable sharpener in the back end which can create a SHARP point. I do like the pencil, but I think I'll misplace the sharpener unless I always immediately put it back into the pencil when I'm done with it.

Partiamo con ordine:
Il righello è solido e robusto. E' un righello fatto di metallo molto resistente e robusto, difficile da spezzare o da piegare.
Insieme al righello abbiamo una matita di plastica con delle mine per ricaricarla. La matita già l'ho testata (anche se dalle foto non si direbbe) e, se usata sul legno, lascia una scrittura scusa e ben visibile sul legno chiaro e medio scuro, sul legno scuro invece fa un po' di fatica a notarsi ma si vede pure li.
Per finire abbiamo un piccolo blocco che va inserito tra la parte superiore del righello e il legno su cui si appoggia. Per maggiori chiarimenti di cosa sto parlando andate a vedere le foto del prodotto.

Nice compact layout square!
This layout square is a good size. It can be used to mark 90 degree angles on a 2x8 but isn't so big it's cumbersome to transport. Utilizing the stop screw it can be set up to layout and angle you need. Uses are only limited by your imagination; drill layout, saw blade height, finding nut sizes, parallel lines etc. The mechanical pencil is of good quality and works well.J BradNice compact layout square!

This is a great addition to my layout tools fitting perfectly between my mini and my large squares. I would recommend this square for everyday use!
