I bought it to replace my broken aftermarket head unit I had for several years. I had faulty touch screen on the left side several days after I installed. Quickly received a replacement unit after technical issues with the original.
The installation is easy and simple, I am using Aux cable for the audio. The sound quality is much better that my previous head unit and I am not the HIFI fan, I am happy with it. The start-up is not too fast but it is acceptable, probably 20~30 seconds to have Android Auto or Apply Carplay fully loaded up.
The screen is bright enough and clear, touch response is promptly. I didn't try all functions for I mostly use Android Auto or Apple Carplay. The unit comes with a 2.5K front camera and the image or video is bright and clear. The backup camera is an add-on for my unit, the video or image quality is good enough for me. The adjustable calibration line is very helpful for estimation of car size.
In one word, I wouldn't be more happier with this product. It's over my expectation.
Some other things:
1. No light sensor, you only can get auto-dim by time settings in the unit
2. No RESET button to do a factory rest when needed, but there is a factory reset in settings. It is on the left side at the bottom of main menu and because of defective touch screen with left side on my first one, I couldn't touch it to make a reset.
3. The 90 degree angle type-C design looks good, but it conflicts with backup camera input below it. I have to reverse it to make space for backup camera input. I would suggest to move up TF card slot and move down backup camera port to make space to accommodate 2 right angle inputs.
4. FM transmission function only works on original cigarette lighter adapter. It won't work on regular USB cable, you may have issue with it if you want get power for other USB device through cigarette lighter and you use FM transmission for audio output.
