The plastic is a little flimsy, and it's a little awkward to get the pad in the first few times (until you get the hang of it). It does do what it claims (cleans) and you don't have to touch the soiled pad to dispose of it. I haven't tried using just a rag on it, but it looks like it *should* work (and will save money and help the environment). Overall, not fantastic, but not bad. Would probably suit someone that it just starting out and doesn't have a lot of motivation to clean properly (as it's quick and easy). 3.5/5

This works great, once you figure out how to use it anyways!

It doesn't really look like there is a way to secure the pad to the mop but there is, it's just hidden.. Push the handle at the stem of the mop towards the end of the mop and it opens up.. Then you can put it on top of a cloth on the floor, push it down and it pinches the cloth into place.

Once I figured that part out, using this was a breeze! I was able to use it on the walls & ceilings without it falling off and also with great ease on the floors. Putting on a new cloth and changing out the old dirty ones was a breeze and takes mere seconds at most.

This is better than the original handle those dry cloths come with I had to get this as the rubber grommets on the top of my name brand one no longer held the cloths in place. This seems like it will hold up for a longer period of time, I hope anyways.

What attracts me most about this sweeper is that you don’t have to touch the dirty pad or head to change the pad, which I really dislike. Installing it is easy; you just screw a few rods together without needing to read the manual. The head rotates a bit stiffly, not as flexibly as those I’ve used before. The instructions were too simple, so I initially didn’t grasp how to change the pad. Later, I learned from others’ reviews. Once you figure it out, changing the pad is very easy, which is the most important thing for me. So, although the instructions could be better, I still decided to give it five stars. The head being a bit stiff allows it to stand upright without needing to lean against anything. It also came with a pack of dry wipes and a pack of wet wipes. I recommend it.

I don’t want to even give it a star. But you have to rate a star before you can write a review. It is a terrible mop. I threw away better ones. It is very cheaply made of the kind of plastic that cracks easily. The mechanism does not catch the wipe. Maybe one corner if I am so lucky. Keep to the original Swiffer ones. My old Swiffer lasted over ten years. I take my one star back. A very disappointed consumer.
