What an ingenious way to give money as a gift! It's a cost-effective and far more exciting alternative to the traditional cash-in-an-envelope approach. Moreover, it adds an element of fun and intrigue, requiring the recipient to work a bit for their treasure. The puzzle itself isn't overly challenging, but for an extra layer of excitement, you can solve it before gifting it. By doing so, the marble is moved to the opposite side of the cube, compelling the recipient to navigate the entire puzzle to retrieve their surprise – a clever twist that makes the experience a tad more engaging. Inside, the cube offers ample space for not only coins and bills but also candies or small trinkets. I believe this unique puzzle money holder will make an excellent gift for my teenagers, adding an element of surprise and entertainment to the act of giving money.

    UPDATED REVIEW - unfortunately I can no longer recommend. One of them broke on Christmas Eve, thankfully after my nephew took his money out of it. The little pin or “trigger” that makes the top pop open broke off into the cube. It can now no longer be opened without smashing it open. I couldn’t imagine how I’d have felt had his money still been inside. Note in pictures you can see the trigger on the green cube but it is gone on the blue. The blue one is broken and no longer opens.

They are a good size, and took some time to figure out. I had planned on keeping them to use for my own kids afterwards but after playing with them I could see my niece and nephew wanting to keep them to prank their own friends so will likely be buying an additional set for my boys in the future. I highly recommend. :)
