The paint thickness gauge is able to measure the paint on both magnetic (iron, steel, stainless steel, alloy, etc) and non-magnetic metal (aluminum, brass, zinc, etc)
How do you use a coating thickness gauge?

Simply place the probe, against the substrate you want to measuring and an LCD display will give you a thickness reading, some calibration and zeroing might be necessary prior to measuring in order to get the most accurate reading possible.
