I had injured my lower back a few months ago, and have managed it with a therapeutic massage and muscle-relaxants. This unit came in yesterday, so I used it on my back before bed, and again this morning before getting out of bed. I must say, I slept very well, normally rolling from one side to the other is painful, but I had no pain at all. Getting up this morning was much easier than most mornings, as the pain was very reduced and now that I'm in a chair, I don't even feel any pain. I plan to continue using this device a few times a day.
One review said this was not easy to use on the back, because you can't see the buttons. I disagree though, as they made the + and - buttons very easy to identify by touch, as the symbols are not just printed, but stick out from the buttons. I was also surprised at how long the charge lasted.
This costs half of what I paid for one therapeutic massage session, so it is well worth the small investment for anyone with a pain management issue.
UPDATE: After one week of use, all pain in my lower back is now completely gone. The swollen inflammation over the tight muscle is gone too, the back is flat and normal with no more 'bump' or raised area.
