I purchased a used chimnea on �鶹��...only a hole in the box but paid a steal of a price! So these small ceramic real-look ceramic pieces work perfect in a small space. They can be used with gel cans, wood, gas etc. It is all how you place them. I love it my apartment because of course wood burning is illegal, lol in a non venting area....so I purchased a couple of real wood smell crackle candles to add (�鶹�� as well!) and some indoor paramount non venting, non toxic emitting burning gel cans. This is a picture during the day on my balcony with just some tea lights. Will update with a night time video in the apt with the gel cans as the fire source with the ceramic wood. I won't miss my fire pit at the lake so much over the winter with this adaptive and very safe mode to apartment living. So happy with my pairings, Chiminea, indoor gel cans, ceramic logs both non toxic. �鶹�� has made the coming fall and winter very cosy for apt living.

I removed the glass rocks from my gas fireplace and added these ceramic logs. While these seem small they are actually a good size for my fireplace (large pieces are about 7inches long). Its early yet so we'll see how well they do through the winter but they seem to work well and they look better than the glass rocks (which also sometimes disrupt the flow of gas).

We've had these in the fireplace for a while now and they are doing well without issue. I suppose the one drawback that was frustrating was that the pieces are awfully small. So double check those measurements! They did fit into an average sized gas fireplace but it wasn't enough material to cover the visual of the gas loop parts. No bad smells or anything. The combination they show in the picture is only going to cover 20 to 30% of your innards. Maybe buy 2 packs.

I have 2 small LPG fire pits, one 18" round pan (23" base), a 13x13 square and one indoor wall mounted bio-ethanol fire place (23" insert, 27" fire-box), so size matters to me, these are small enough and multiple shaped that you can make a nice looking T-pee shape or regular fireplace layout that looks totally natural and with the flames dancing thru and between, gives off a very relaxing visual affect. The neighborhood I live in has regulations against burning wood or anything that gives off random burning embers, in or outdoors, so were limited to liquids and clean burning gas. These are just the right size for smaller burners. The wall mount I had to fabricate an angled bench seat for the logs, from a piece of 24x24" high heat stainless steal 1/4" wire mesh, so the logs were hovering 1.5" above the flame and not directly on top of the fire box. I mixed the 4 sets up because of the different size fire pits. I will post a couple videos of the two different uses. I've been using these for about 3 fall seasons now and have never had any problems with cracking or popping due to condensation or air pockets, just be certain the first time you use them, use a low heat for a good 4 hours, just to be safe and cook off any residual condensation. Then you can crank up the 15" flames without worry! Using LPG, If you get a dark ash residue on your logs, its not the logs, its your flame not burning totally clean, which is natural for the orange flame color. I am totally happy with the quality and aesthetics of these ceramic logs. Woops, says I can only upload one video per review, that's something new. Sorry I cant show the other fire pit due to a new awkward amazon rule. Believe me, it looks just as incredible as the wall mount use. We replaced our gas fireplace burner and wanted to replace the log in it. We didn't read the description on these well apparently. The set is small in size. Would have needed to two or three sets to do what we wanted in out fireplace. Fortunately, we kept our old logs, so we made them all work. The logs and pinecones have nice details and they hold well in the fireplace. They are much lighter than the ones we have, because the core is Styrofoam, probably why they are so much cheaper. One pinecones came with the tip broken off and we could see and feel the Styrofoam insides. That is how we know what the core is made of. However, I accidently throw it into our backyard firepit and it held up through the fire, so the material is obviously fireproof or resistant. Overall, nice looking and nice quality, just small in size for a fireplace like ours (it is about 18" width on the back wall). Packing and shipping could have been better so we wouldn't have gotten a broken piece, but that is about standard now days with �鶹�� and its sellers.
