Pros: Some saw bases are slightly curve at the front and the Kreg has a wedge to ensure a snug and aligned fit. Consistent and accurate cuts every time.
Con: The Keg track clamps are cumbersome as you must fidget with aligning the track clamp in order to secure the clamp in place. Plastic fastener that keeps the clamp in the track can be stripped if over tightened causing clamp to slide. So after cut you must unlock for next cut but then the clamps slides off track or further down the track. Need to fidget more to move clamp back into place. Time consuming when not working. Efficient when working.
