I think the description that a few others have shared that it tastes like a “mild cream of wheat” is very accurate. I think putting in a smoothie or oatmeal would mask it!

    This is a great product and I am happy to be supporting a Canadian brand.

    I purchased it during a time in my life when I was eating cleaner than ever before and yet struggling with painful constipation! I used Metamucil but was displeased with the sugar content of it, so I looked into healthier options. I found this option and saw this is had the added benefit of regulating blood sugar and I was definitely intrigued. I incorporated this into my nighttime vitamin routine by adding a teaspoon into a cup with warm water and adding almond milk then using a frother to mix it- I cannot taste it and on the days I add more powder the taste is very mild and does not bother me. I started to see results about 1 week after using it consistently and it keeps me regular with no pain, gas or bloating, and I’m now on my second bottle! So glad I found this product.

    I first bought this product for function (of course) but also because it is made in Alberta, where I live. I continue to buy it because it works. Two tablespoons in a pint glass of water first thing in the morning is what I use, and I drink it before my first cup of coffee. The product mixes easily in water and has almost no taste...maybe a slight "grain" taste, but hardly noticeable. The price is comparable to chemical laxitives but I like that this is made from natural barley fibre. I recommend.

    Got this a few days ago; put it in my morning coffee. When I got down to the last few mouthfuls of my coffee, I got a mouthful of "goo". This product does not dissolve, it settles on the bottom of your drink. The only way to use this, I'm thinking, is to put it in yogurt or cottage cheese - or maybe chia pudding. I'm so tired of wasting my money. The one fiber product that I got all the time is no longer available for some reason.
