I have a backyard fire ring and I was in need of a new poker. the stick I've been using seems to keep getting shorter for some reason! This is a solid set, made from heavy gauge steel. The poker comes in two pieces but screws together firmly to form a solid connection. The hook and point is welded to the end of the rod, not the most finely finished of joints, but it is solid and for a device used to root around in fire and charcoal, I'm more concerned with function than form. The tongs are also fairly basic, but they work like a charm and allow a good grip on pieces of wood. I do find I have to grip the logs with the curved part of the jaws; if I try and use the tips the wood has a tendency to rotate, but that's to be expected. I'm the type person who always sees a stick or two in the fire that could be in a better spot, and this set of tools allows me to manage (some might say "play with", but that's THEIR opinion! LOL) my campfires a lot better! I'll update my review as I get more use out of this set, this season.

Now that the weather's warming up I finally had a chance to try this set out at my firepit, and I am quite satisfied with its performance. The poker is sturdy, with a well-made wooden handle that provides a comfortable grip. The two-piece design of the poker shaft is convenient for storage and easy to transport. The tongs have a good reach and are heavy enough to manage firewood without feeling flimsy. Though they are a bit tough to open with one hand due to their weight, using them with two hands does the job just fine.

Both tools are made of solid metal and feel well-constructed. They hold up well to the heat. Overall, this set is a great option for anyone looking for durable and functional fire tools, especially for outdoor use.

These are perfect out at my seasonal campsite.
I do wish the the poker was a 1 piece design though.
Tongs are long enough to keep away from the fire, but there is some flex in the tool.
Although they are a bit thinner metal, they should still last sometime.
They should suffice for light duty use.

Loving the wooden handle on the poker (it's real wood btw) and the 2-piece threaded design of the shaft makes it super portable for camping. Both pieces are entirely made of metal (and decently heavy), but the build is well above reproach. Zero imperfections in either tool; and the tongs have an excellent reach. The only problem is that they're so heavy that it's a difficult to open them with one hand (and I'm a pretty strong dude). As a result, I find myself opening them with two hands, moving the logs with one, then opening them with 2 hands again just to get the tongs out of the pit. Took some getting used to that's for sure. Much prefer using the poker since it's far more convenient. Otherwise, if the fact that the tongs are technically a 2-handed device doesn't bother you, it's an EXCELLENT set. Highly recommended.

I recently got the Stanbroil 26” Campfire Tongs and 32” Premium Steel Fire Pit Poker Tool Set, and they’ve been a decent addition to my outdoor campfires.

The tongs are a good length for handling logs without getting too close to the flames, the tongs are easy to use, though the handle is not very comfortable to use. The poker is long enough at 32” to stoke the fire safely from a distance, though it does have some flex with heavier looks, I suspect it will bend over time.

I’ve used them for a few different setups, and they’ve worked well. Overall, these tools are a decent option for anyone looking for a value conscious solution for fire tools.
