The best Vacuum ever !
This is my second Shark stick vacuum - my first is the Rocket & I still love it but it works hard as I am a private cleaner and I needed a backup vacuum. The Power Fin Pet is awesome ! The main difference is that the Rocket has a brush roller which I have to remove human & pet hair and strands from constantly but the Power Fin has no brushes to clean and so far there has been absolutely no strands of anything wrapped around the roller !!! Loads of maintenance time saved!!! The vacuum is light to manoeuvre and transport in my car. The cord is really long which I love - although slightly shorter than my Rocket as it doesn’t quite reach the places I have previously been able to get to without moving to a closer socket - only a minor disappointment. The Power Fin dust canister is small but completely detaches easily to empty - the Rocket dust canister stays attached to the handle & cable so it is more cumbersome to empty. The Power Fin is slightly smaller and requires frequent empties as I vacuum larger hairier spaces. The filters are easily removed and need shaking and banging to free them from dust clogging and I do this often - daily ( manual says monthly cleans with water) I will do this more often as my vacuum is used alot. I bought affordable spares so I have a few back-ups ! Having owned a Shark stick for a few years I was always irritated that it was top-heavy & wouldn’t stand up when not in use so I had to lie it down or lean it carefully everywhere …..but I now know that it can be balanced by detaching the top of the vacuum ( handle & Canister) from the stick and it simply clips onto the bottom of the stick & rests above the roller head of the vacuum and won’t fall over !!! Who knew !!! You live & learn and I love this feature haha !!! If you need super powerful suction and want to seamlessly vacuum between carpets & hard floors ( with the flick of a switch ) in hairy places, getting under low furniture & into crevices with the 2 tools for soft furnishings and the ability to detach from the stick and have a hand-held vacuum ( I have not used this in my car yet ) you will love this vacuum ! I always felt my other stick vacuum was quite loud but this one is a little quieter so that is another plus. Nothing disappoints me and Shark stick plug-ins are still my favourite choice of vacuum at a really great price too !

    I’m not one to write a review, but I felt like I needed to write one for this vacuum. I’ve had it since November and overall, it’s a great, lightweight stick vacuum. My favourite feature is the light, it’s super convenient for hidden crumbs and hair!

    It does claim that it’s “self cleaning” which I do have to semi disagree with. I have two cats, one short hair and one long hair. I have pretty long hair myself, and I notice my hair will get caught up in the roller part of the vacuum (see attached). It’s not a huge deal for me personally, I just cut it and clean it out, but that part of the item is misleading.

    Secondly, the two little wheels on both corners of the vacuum also seem to clog with cat hair (see attached). Again, not a biggie, but inconvenient. I wish there was a way to remove the wheels so you can clean them up!

    Overall, I do really like the vacuum. It’s easy to use, sleek, and easily stored. The hair clogging problem will bring it down a star, unfortunately. I would recommend this to someone in a similar living situation as me, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a family with multiple kids/pets.

    So far very happy with this lightweight corded vacuum, I have a heavy bissell vacuum which I pull out for a deep clean but this one does the job with our rag dolls cat hair it’s all twists in the receptacle so easy to pull out , some may not like a corded vacuum but I prefer to have consistency in having power and not worrying about charging it and having a specific area to have it stand to be plugged in for charging, like the nice blue colour , easy to store so all is good.

    I've owned several Dys*n brand battery-powered vacuums, and I do like them very much but do not like when the battery eventually wears out. So this time I looked for a lightweight corded vacuum. After reading reviews I purchased the Shark HZ600C Ultralight Pet Pro Corded Stick Vacuum and I am so happy I did. It is lightweight and easily maneuvers around corners and under the sofa. It also picks up debris close to the wall which is something I liked that was mentioned in previous reviews. Also, I just had drywall installed in one room and after clean up there was a very fine, light, chalky residue on the floor. I didn't think this vacuum was going to be capable of picking that up. Well, I was very pleased to see I was wrong! That was the moment I said to myself, "gee, I love this vacuum!". I looked in the dust cup and the drywall dust that had previously been spread all over my floor was now captured and ready for garbage. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend :)

    I have been using various Shark vacs for over 20 years. This is perhaps the most I've spent and the least value. I'm truly appalled at how poorly it works. Carpets? Nope. Bare floors? Nope. Cheap plastic parts. They even took away the led lights on the body (so if you use the vac without the head, you're in the dark). And, the waste cup is very awkward to empty. So disappointed. I missed the return window unfortunately. I normally don't write reviews but thought this might save someone else the disappointment.
