Easy to clean
I only used it a few times to make toasties, but I like it . Granted it doesnt seal the bread if the bread is smaller than the plate size. It toasted the bread well and my son who has never has a toastie before loved the chocolate hazelnut one I made for him. I made myself a grilled cheese toastie. It tasted better somehow than if I were to do it on the stove. Plus after it cooled off enough I was able to take the plates out to clean them which made it easier to clean than the models where the plates are fixed. It only uses one button on the side to release the plates instead of 2 clips like others I have seen. It's all metal construction on the inside which makes it more durable than others I have seen. See picture for what it looks like under the plates. Read the manual. It's easy to do and short.

    So far, I only used it to make sandwiches, but it didn't disappoint !

    It's :
    - Fast
    - Efficient
    - Toast them perfectly
    - Is big enough to hold the whole breads slices in (When comparing sandwich maker I saw that it was an issue with some of them)
    - Seems to be sturdy, never had any issues with the handle or anything else so far
    - Easy to clean

    So why only 4 stars ? Well like I said, I only used it to do sandwiches, so I can't speak for the other uses, I will update my review as soon as I try them out.

    we use this grill so much. it is powerful, heats up quick, cleans easily. the only downside is that the temperature dial has stopped working i.e. it does work if you dial it up, but when you turn it down it may or may not turn of (fire danger). i suspect a drop of grease may have seeped down and entered the crevasse between the dial and the housing. suggest the manufacturer improve the design to withstand such a pretty common use scenario of the grill. We still use the grill but unplug it after each use for this reason.
