- Reviewed in Canada on March 20, 2022I only used it a few times to make toasties, but I like it . Granted it doesnt seal the bread if the bread is smaller than the plate size. It toasted the bread well and my son who has never has a toastie before loved the chocolate hazelnut one I made for him. I made myself a grilled cheese toastie. It tasted better somehow than if I were to do it on the stove. Plus after it cooled off enough I was able to take the plates out to clean them which made it easier to clean than the models where the plates are fixed. It only uses one button on the side to release the plates instead of 2 clips like others I have seen. It's all metal construction on the inside which makes it more durable than others I have seen.
