Description:

The Neewer Reflector Panel is a light shaping tool consisting of 4 aluminum rods and a geared bracket that hold its 35 x 70" (90 x 180 cm) fabric taut without a frame. Two reversible reflective fabrics are included, black/white and gold/silver. The tilting bracket accepts stands with a 5/8" top stud and rotates 360 degrees so that you can turn the panel horizontally, vertically or any angle in between. A carry bag is included to store and transport the panel.

Pretty good unit. Happy with the size and quality of the material. Very lightweight. I can have it elevated and angled down above the model's face on a $25 Neewer stand without even needing to use weights. Just as a note though...all these pictures show the item with a little stand. However, no stand is included. All you get is the 2 pieces material, the holder, and 4 flex-rods that hold it up.

One problem I have with them is the lack of tension created by the rods. The material in general is held up pretty loosely. It's fine if you're keeping them perfectly straight, horizontally or vertically. But as soon as you add any angling in there it starts to sag quite a bit. With the black and white it's not much of an issue since if you're using those colors, you're going to be lighting for pitch black or blown out white. Of course this is my own problem. Because technically these are reflectors and not intended to be used as backdrops. However, they can easily be used that way. So maybe the problem I have with it is still showcasing a plus for the product.

It needs a fairly sturdy stand unless you're okay to let it rest on the floor. There are fold marks that remain. Regarding the silver and gold shiny reflectors .. I'm crumpling it up to let it get totally wrinkled. Might reflect the light more evenly that way. The folds are less of a problem with the white and not a problem with the black. The white did stick to itself quite firmly when opening it for the first time, so be gentle and take some time so the surface doesn't peel.

its super lite weight, which is both a pro and a con. Using indoor, it'll be fine, but outdoors. You will need to sandbag it down. A small gust of wind and the panel will act like a sail.
Another downer is there is no assembly instructions but it took me about 5mins if trial and error to figure it out.
