- Reviewed in Canada on September 18, 2017Pretty good unit. Happy with the size and quality of the material. Very lightweight. I can have it elevated and angled down above the model's face on a $25 Neewer stand without even needing to use weights. Just as a note though...all these pictures show the item with a little stand. However, no stand is included. All you get is the 2 pieces material, the holder, and 4 flex-rods that hold it up.
One problem I have with them is the lack of tension created by the rods. The material in general is held up pretty loosely. It's fine if you're keeping them perfectly straight, horizontally or vertically. But as soon as you add any angling in there it starts to sag quite a bit. With the black and white it's not much of an issue since if you're using those colors, you're going to be lighting for pitch black or blown out white. Of course this is my own problem. Because technically these are reflectors and not intended to be used as backdrops. However, they can easily be used that way.
