This starter metal detector kit for kids is the perfect tool for a treasure-hunting expedition! The 18.8 cm dual coil is waterproof up to 4" and can detect objects up to 10 cm deep. Kids can find the perfect fit with the adjustable arm length and comfort grip, and hunt for treasure for hours!

With an 18.8 cm waterproof coil, lightweight design, and simple operation, it's the perfect way to introduce kids to metal detecting.

This metal detector is easy to use and perfect for the budding detectorist. Setup is simple and the advanced technology and powerful searching features make finding treasure fun and easy. Take it to the beach, park, or on a hike and find treasure everywhere you go!

The high-quality, 18.8 cm dual coil is waterproof and capable of detecting hidden metal objects up to 10 cm below the ground. When an object is found, an audible “beep” and the bright LED will alert you to the hidden treasure.

Our lightweight, 544 g starter detector is ergonomically designed to be all-day comfortable for kids, with an adjustable arm to find the perfect fit, and easily collapses down to 33 cm long for storage and transport. This kit includes a sturdy trowel kids can use to dig up their finds, along with a full-colour Learning Guide filled with fascinating insight into the science and history of metal detecting.

    For something aimed at kids, they should've spent a bit more time making it durable. It doesn't need all of the bells and whistles, but it's got to be able to take the abuse.

    It's only slightly cheaper than comparable options on the site, and not waterproof, and doesn't feel solid at all. I think I'm going to pack it back up and return it and check other options.
