This was a really fun device with lots of replay value. We made a number of items with the clay enclosed in the initial package before requiring more.
The wheel itself has a slight learning curve to become functionally fun (with good documentation and instructions enclosed), but you could clearly invest more time to develop skills before outgrowing the wheel.
We really enjoyed the process and products. It was a great way to learn and have an afternoon of fun on a rainy day.
I would hands down recommend for any child interested in pottery. The Nat Geo toys are very user friendly and relaible
