I wanted to see how this phone stand held up so I waited a while to post a review. However, having had this phone stand in my car for 6 months, I can say this is an amazing product. It was extremely easy to install and the adhesive worked immediately despite the product suggesting a 24 hour wait before use. I have been using the stand almost daily and the adhesive has not budged. The magnet is extremely strong and I have not had issues with my phone falling off of it. It is very easy to adjust the stand although it takes a bit of elbow grease so not recommended while driving. The price of this product is very good for how well it works and I hope it will serve me well for months to come!

I wasn't sure what I was going to get. It kinda looks like it's all metal and chrome finish. It's not. The connecting rod is metal but everything else is plastic and......it's black (which is fine). The magnet that attaches to the phone is extremely strong. You have to slide it off to the side to remove it. The base swivels after it is permanently attached to the mounting pad, which is also permanently attached to your dash or wherever. So, do a complete layout before attaching the parts to the car as it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to reorient them after. Right now the parts are attached to my car and waiting to cure for the next day or so. I did attach my phone temporarily to verify installation. All good! Lots of adjustments after the phone is attached with sufficient friction to hold everything in its place. I think this is a very well designed cell phone holder for auto use - just be careful before you do the final install. Recommended.

This car mount is by far the best I have bought. To be sure, before finding this one, I bought no less than 4 from retailers in store like Best Buy or London Drugs that were absolutely garbage. I accidentally ordered this one (it was in my cart from a previous almost buy and forgot to remove it when checking out a different unrelated item) and when it arrived I thought about sending it back. Im glad I didnt. With previous 3M car mounts the tape never seemed to stick, even when cleaning with all the appropriate solvents etc. This mount is heavier than the others, and I was not convinced the tape would be any more effective. It was. After waiting the 12 hours to let the tape set, I placed my heavy iPhone 13 Pro Max on the magnet and it held on there solidly. I thought for a moment that the tape was coming off when I tried to pull the phone off and noticed the mount had moved, but that is the glorious moment I realized that the mount itself is on a swivel and can rotate 360 degrees, alongside the moveable arm. And now, a week later, with the phone being placed and manhandled into a number of different positions the mount has stayed solid and is a welcome and discreet addition to my car, folding nicely away onto the dash when not in use. Highly recommended.
