I don't like this product for the following reasons:
1. The instructions say "Use medium grind grounds" but all espresso grinds are fine grind.
2. You have to stand there waiting for the machine to warm up for what seems like five minutes before you can actually start to brew.
3. The two cup and single cup buttons produce exactly the same result.
4. Can't fit a regular size cup under the brewing nozzle. You have to use a little cup to brew and then pour it in a big cup for a latte.
5. The amount of espresso produced is about 2 ounces if you are lucky.
6. The instructions are very poorly written, and difficult to follow.

I bought another espresso maker and threw this one away.

This is my first espresso machine and while I'm thrilled by the produced coffee, I found the build quality to be lacking. Firstly, the first use steps say to remove a stopper under the water tank. It didn't exist on mine. Also, the water inlet had some brown stain on it right out of the box. Not impressed there as well. Furthermore, the portafilter can't be twisted into the locked position. Whatever tolerances they used is too tight and it just won't turn. I initially thought that maybe I put in too much grinds and it's getting stuck. BUT I emptied it and it still won't snap in. I tried using force too and there's no good way to grip onto the machine and I feel like I'm warping the paper thin metal or breaking the plastic handle, pick your poison.

Next up, the steam frother. Saw a review showing that it works perfect. However, mine loses heat fast and instead of shooting out steam, it ends up just spraying a jet of hot water. This is after waiting for the blinking blue light to go solid each time. I counted about 10-11 seconds of usable time before it ends up diluting your milk. For my 2% milk, it did pretty much nothing. I have better luck using an actual agitating frother. The only good physical trait of the machine is probably its ETL safety cert, which is missing on many Chinese appliances sold on �鶹��.

Aside from that and the tedious process, the resulting coffee is incredible especially compared to my Cuisinart drip machine and even that fancy one at my office. I guess heat + pressure really makes a difference. Do note that the unit will not fit a regular sized mug. You need to use tiny cups and even on double shot mode, it barely makes enough to fill half of that cup.

I say tedious because you have to load up grinds in a small portafilter which inevitably results in mess on the table. The cleanup after is kinda a bummer too because grinds get stuck on the water dispensing part, they also get stuck in the portafilter which needs to be washed, and the drip tray needs to be emptied too because the machine keeps dripping stuff on it (even when you are just using the frother). Probably expected for most manual machines so I'm not docking points for that.

Overall, I think it's a capable machine that's let down by poor quality and a barely functional frother. 3/5
