I tried a lot of oat milks this year, and a lot of them were sort of slimy because of the added gum. They were trying to pretend to make it creamy. This Barista Oat blend uses more oils and no gum, so it's got a nice creamy taste without any of the slime. It's good in cereal without feeling way too starchy.
It's easy enough to shake up by hand if you just want some moderately-foamed milk in your tea or coffee. The flavour is very nice, too, probably the most similar to milk that I've tried.
It's expensive, but everything else about it is great.

I had to put one of them in the freezer as it was clearly falling apart and the sides were bulging which means it already turned bad and fermenting inside.

Willing to pay more - that's how much a difference it makes in our coffee. Earth's Own have the best Oatmilk, Barista and regular - and we tasted them all! lol

This is a great product, shelf stable is a bonus, and the creaminess is really nice in drinks and in baking.
The only question I have is that I was buying these for $5 per unit around a year ago and now they’re $7 each? Seams like another product taking advantage of people expecting to pay more for things.

Other Earth’s Own products have not seen a similar price increase including Oat products so it shouldn’t be for a lack of “Oats”.
